Set overview
30th Celebration (M6a) marks 30 years of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, which debuted in Japan with the Expansion Pack (known outside Japan as Base Set) in October 1996. It was the first set released worldwide on the same day, 16 September 2026. Every card in the set is holofoil, including the Basic Energy, and many cards come in daytime and nighttime versions. The set also includes a Classic Collection of 30 reprinted cards from Base Set to the modern day, each with a sparkling golden border.
Notable cards
Each booster pack contains 5 cards, one of which is one of 30 numbered Pikachu rare cards. The set introduced Futuristic rare cards and RGB rare secret cards, both illustrated by the artist YOSHIROTTEN. Special Illustration Rares include Mewtwo ex, Mew ex, Pikachu ex, Greninja ex, Umbreon ex and Salamence ex. With so many anniversary touches, it is a set made for collectors.
